Administrative Assistant

A religious organization in Memphis has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant.  This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative assistance to 3 different departments

  • Create monthly calendars and schedules for employees

  • Mail curriculum quarterly to department leaders

  • Compile folders for teachers will all necessary information they will require

  • Curriculum book preparation

  • Creature activity brochures

  • Maintain sign-in sheets

  • Assist with project planning and camp preparation

  • Create flip charts

  • Handle PowerPoint/music for assemblies

  • Assist with children

Requirements:

  • Should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative position

  • Highly motivated, energetic, proactive

  • Must have GREAT oral and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking required

  • Able to shift gears easily and answer to several department heads

  • Extensive knowledge of applications in Microsoft Office 365. Candidates will be tested.

  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus

Salary: $17.25/hr DOE, Benefits offered

Hours: 40 hours per week
