Office Coordinator

An insurance company in Southaven has an immediate opening for an Office Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the agent and licensed team in the Sale and Service of their insurance products in and around Desoto, Marshall, Tate, and Tunica counties

  • Coordinate the placement of calls and walk-in traffic to team members for the licensed customer care

  • Assist licensed team members in contacting customers by phone, email, texting, or mail

  • Assist customers with payments and information not requiring a MS insurance license

  • Coordinate the procurement of office needs

  • Setting appointments for interviews

  • Preparing Family Insurance Checkups

  • Self-study and structured training programs which will be assigned and administered by the agent

Requirements:

  • Ability to be a positive, effective Team member

  • Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone

  • Ability to meet and get along with people

  • Ability to use computer and other office equipment

  • An aptitude for working with figures

  • Self-motivation and promptness

  • General knowledge of business office procedure is preferred

Salary: $15-17/hour, DOE; Great benefits offered

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
