Administrative Assistant

 A company in DeSoto County is looking for an Administrative Assistant.  This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering Phones

  • Taking Messages

  • Greeting customers

  • Distribute faxes and memos

  • Checking mail

  • Checking calendar

  • Reconciling receipts

  • Ordering supplies

  • Run errands as needed

  • Filing, Making Files & Labels

  • Copying and Binding Plans and Contract Docs

  • Printing Orders for Binding Plans and Contract Docs

  • Directing shipping and handling for the company

  • Run large and small Xerox and plotter machines

  • Scanning in documents and saving them to the server

  • Typing Letters, Transmittals,

  • Depositing Checks

  • Monitoring employees when working outside the office

  • Entering bills into QuickBooks and monitoring due dates

  • Shipping and handling, US Mail, FedEx

  • Light lifting required

Computer Skills Preferred:

  • Microsoft Office (all programs)

  • Internet

  • QuickBooks

  • Bill Quick

Hours: Monday – Friday 8-5

Salary: $17-$18/hour, DOE; GREAT Benefits Offered
